TREXM at the Nigeria Oil & Gas Conference & Exhibition

The recently completed 18th Nigeria Oil & Gas Conference & Exhibition is an international platform for professionals and business industries within the Oil and Gas sector, aiming to flourish and resolve the various issues faced by the industry. The event also emphases on creating new technological inventions and keeping sustainable development in mind to promote a healthy perspective from the oil and gas industry. This event provided a platform for the Nigerian oil and gas industry to discuss and debate the most pressing issues facing the industry as well as share successes and network with industry peers.

Ahmad Rufai Shakur (Acting Director of the Department of Petroleum Resources) noted that the event provides an avenue to meet, share knowledge, exchange ideas, gain insight, discuss emerging industry issues and proffer solutions.
This Annual Event plays a critical role in highlighting and promoting Africa’s huge Oil and Gas resource potentials to the World, thus “NOG provides the platform that brings together stakeholders in both public and private sectors, captain of industry, professionals, key decision maker and influencers with strategic knowledge of the Oil and Gas value chain.

TREXM Oil & Gas Services Nigeria Limited was at the conference, in the International Conference Centre (ICC) Abuja from the 1st to the 4th of July, to showcase our services and product offerings. TREXM has over the year acquired skills and the expertise to redefine and reach its maximum potential in different industries from Power, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing and the Likes. The NOG Exhibition was the best place for TREXM to showcase its specialties from Automation and Control Systems, Instrumentation Control and Electrical, Well-head Solutions, Metering and Measurement Solutions, Inspection Technologies.

The theme of this year’s conference. “Driving Nigeria’s Oil & Gas Industry Towards Sustained Economic Growth and Development and Growth” reflects the necessity for the Nigerian oil and gas industry to remain competent and innovative in reacting to the emergence of cheaper renewable energy resources and sustain the relevance of hydrocarbon resources to the universal energy fusion.

TREXM in conjunction with our partner Baker Hughes General Electric (BHGE), offers a suite of GE-ultrasonic meters, products and services that include the Flare Care Programme. The program includes Flare Services, Lifecycle Solutions and Service Partnerships. The Programme is focused on helping customers control flare efficiency using an advanced process control algorithm with flare.IQ, in conjunction with our ultrasonic flowmeters and services.  This process starts with extensive knowledge of flare applications and how the Ultrasonic Meter provides more than just flow information.

TREXM with the Support of BHGE had a Flare Hologram on display at the Exhibition, this attracted a lot of interest in Flare Care Programme and, questions on gas flaring in Nigeria  and the new  National Gas Flare Commercialization Program launched in 2016, as a major step towards Nigeria’s goal of ending Gas Flaring by 2020
The global flare-out deadline is 2030 following the zero-flaring initiative promoted by the World Bank, however, Nigeria has a national target that seeks to eliminate gas flaring 10 years earlier
